Does anybody know if stock or short style BBC valve covers will clear a set of roller rockers?? Got Harland Sharp's. If I get some smaller covers I might be able to fit the motor in my truck without hacking the crap out of it.

I have a set of comp cams roller tip rockers that are 1.7:1 ratio and they clear stock valve covers, if you ever look at any old BB covers they have rows of tiny dents from people pushing them to hard and floating the valves

I don't think that they are as tall as the Harland Sharp's are. The motor is at my folks house, guess I will have to go there and take some measurements. I was hoping to sell this motor and get a 400 for my truck, but no takers yet.
