My stepper motor doesn't apear to be working. I have tried a new one and that one doesn't look like it's doing anything too. The subject is a '88 YJ I traded for a couple of Scramblers, or will as soon as I can smog it. The rod moves when you initially turn the ignition on correct? I have lot's of carb's/steppers I can try. Though that doesn't seem to be the problem. I might even have a computer from an earlier BBD CJ I can try.

The CO is way rich at high RPM testing, though at idle it's fine.

As you're in CA, the Nutter bypass won't work, right??

Wish I could help, but I have little to no sympathy for anyone trading away an 88 YJ for "a couple of Scramblers".

So, are you dumping a Peugeot on the guy as well?

I need to make this thing right. Yes it's an '88 YJ but it's a totally clean low mileage loaded Loredo. The Scramblers are one that runs but needs help, not bad but needs some work. The other is a totall. I'ts a black "Loredo" style chrome, tach, clock, etc, 258 auto, A/C but again it's wacked pretty hard.

Someone must know something. I'm going to JU to ask. I bet I actually will get some decent responses there.

Hey Steve,

Check this out:

Maybe it will help. I pull those BBD pieces of crap as soon as I see one. Not in CA though.

I saw that one, it's got the most info so far. Problem is I need to figure out what's not working. I'm guessing the ECM
