that looks good, did you just eyeball it or draw a few lines and see which cut would look best or did you know how you wanted to cut it because you saw it on another truck?

The key (espcially on the front) seems to be getting rid of the bottom points. Depending upon how much you want to hack off, you can also dramatically improve approach and/or departure angles at the corners.

Here's what I did to mine.

I basically followed the line of the inner fender well on the back side of the front fender so that I wouldn't have to modify the inner well (which is also basically right up against the floor of the cab at that point. On the front of the front fender, I took about 3 inches clean off and then radiused the corner using some masking tape and the edge of a funnel to mark the curve.

Phase two (not yet done) is going to be cleaning up the edges, some spray in hardening foam between layers of sheet metal, sanded and painted black, and then some flexible plastic trim I found at a body supply shop to cover the edge all the way over the opening.

It's admittedly a little half-assed, but I don't own a welder and I made room for 35's on stock springs...even at full stuff! :)

Templates? We just eyeballed my buddies, then stood back, made sure it was fairly straight and smooth, then went to work. Word of advice, if you're using a rotozip to cut the fenders, buy earplugs for all your neighbors. Those things are loud when cutting sheetmetal! :D

i used masking tape so i could draw the lines and cut them

basically i just cut off as much off on the front of the front and the rear of the rear as possible

i didnt want to cut out the tops of the fenders as i didnt need to so i just made the other 2 corners look decient

i will be cutting up my blazer alot more

heres my 88 chev

i had to cut out part of my front cab mount (at the rear of the front fenderwell) in addition to removing the inner fenders and severely trimming the outer fenders.

yeah i can figure out something from those, right now ive got a 4" with 33's im planning on running the 60/14 combo, and im going to do the ORD 2" drop shackle in the rear and just a 6" pack in the front, but i wannt run like 38's, so im geaussing ill need to take a couple inches out. . . but i want it to look somewhat clean, im guessing im going to have to change my last request though huh?
