How do you determine if you need a long travel driveshaft? My normal ride height is 39.5" and at full ext its 43"...my front currently has about 2 to 3 " of splines that are teflon coated....

was thinking of going square but not sure how to convert as I've never worked with driveshafts and a little reservedd.....

When your shaft pulls apart and lands on the ground one time too many! If you have a shackle reversal and spring over axle conversion, then you'll probably need a long slip front shaft.

So on a longtravel splines, how long are they? Mine fell to the ground but I didn't think that the 4" of travel was real excessive? Anyone..... thanks dog but wanted a little bit more data....

you can get splines up to 24", but typically for a cruiser with decent flex and SO-SR you will want 9-10"
