Alright, I finally got a chance to work on my project this weekend. I ran into an issues though. After searching and reading through 20+ threads I still have no answers. So here it goes.
When mounting the Klune between the SM465 and NP205, you removed the stock "adapter" (which has the shifter bolted to it). The problem is now there's no place to mount the NP205 shifter. What gives?
Is anyone else running this setup or something similar where they had this problem? How do you mount the NP205 shifter?
Their site is about as helpful as the installation manual that came with it. I'm pretty disappointed that they just leave you hangin' on dealing with that shifter.
Frustrated...:(

HOW MUCH LONGER IS YOUR SETUP AFTER THE KLUNE AND ADAPTERS?
TAKE AWAY THE STOCK ADAPTER RIGHT?

I don't have a Klune V yet, but i have a custom twin-stick from Off Road Design, that bolts to the 465, not the adapter. Call them, and they can make one for you. It was just under $200 with all the bracketry and hardware.

I took a look at Off Road Design's site. I dropped them a line. I think it will work if the connecting rods are made longer.
Their setup is along the lines of what I was thinking I'd have to build, but it uses the bolts that connect to the KluneV. If I had to make something, I was planning on using the bolt holes on the side of the SM465 to attach the bracket. Looking at their kit, I'm kind of surprised that they get away with only two bolts and a little plate. Judging from their site though, I think I can trust their design.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I have a Klune and a 205 but behind a 727. I had to make a shifter to work. On the 727 I used the holes for the old trans mount. You really want to twin stick it anyways don't you?:)

That's exactly how they did mine
talk to James, he made it. tell him the guy with the rockwell cruiser in texas, he should remember me. The front shifter rod is 13", and the rear was 11.5" on mine
make measurements for where you want the shifters to come through the floor, and he will make the rods as long as you need
it holds up fine with 2 3/8" bolts in the side of the tranny
and i comes out right next to the tranny shifter, which i think is cool
Good Luck!

elf_cruiser - do you have any pics?
To clarify, you're running a SM465/Klune/NP205, right?

Sorry james, no pics. I am running a 465-stockcoupler-205. My setup has similar dimensions to yours, but you should be a few inches longer with the adapter btwn the 465 and the Klune. Yes, talk to James @ ORD, he can hook you up. Make all your measurements first, and make sure that the shifters can come up through the floor next to the tranny. There are 3 castings on my 465 that come out with threaded holes for 3/8" bolts. I mounted the shifter BOSS to the two nearest the firewall. If you want to mount it to the two nearest the Klune, just tell James and he can make it that way. I waited about 2 months on mine, so be prepared.
can you post any pics of yours with no shifters??
good luck!
