A few quick questions:

Can both diffs be taken out without cutting into the suspension mounts?
I see you have a trailer for it. Would you be interested in selling the trailer also?

JabNasty
12-17-2005, 10:03 AM
No the upper link mounts must be cut off to take the diff out. I did this because I tried bolting them to the 3rd and it never held up it would strip and shear bolts. Yes I have a 28' gooseneck with 2 7k axles. I could probally work something out with you on the trailer.

Sorry, but I'm not set up for a gooseneck right now. But I am still interested in the buggy and was looking at the picures and it looks like there is a piece of frame from another vehicle. What is it? Also, was it built by you or a shop? And can the engine be taken out with out cutting into the frame?

JabNasty

The frame is from a 90 yj, I built it and yes the engine can be taken out without cutting the frame.

I'm interested in it and would like to come drive it. However, I will be out of town until Jan. 14 and will be leaving again on the 17th. If it hasn't been sold by then maybe we could work out a test drive.

JabNasty

That will work just give me a call and we will work something out. Ive got a place we can take it about 30 minutes from me that you will be able to see what it can really do.

What is the width of the rig at the outside of the tires? Also, what type of joints are in the front Rockwell (u joint or ball type)?

JabNasty
12-31-2005, 11:34 AM
96" outside to outside. The front is a ujoint type and I have some spare rockwell housings and axles that I will throw in one front and one rear.

Looks like I'll be able to make it to the Dallas area on the 28th of Jan. Will you be around to let me test drive it?
