MY brother has a problem. When he flexes his jeep(YJ), the parking brake lines are too short and are pretty much killing his flex. Is there somewhere he can buy replacements for $$cheap$$? Or can they be re-routed some way? Thanks.
a couple options, i just went through this w/ a spring over/axle swap. in order below from cheap to expensive:
1) junkyard, sorry i dont know what to tell you what to look for but you can find a solution there
2)SUMMIT, LOKAR ebrake kit, its universal cut to fit type thing. $90
3)www.controlcables.com these guys make cables for just about anything, but will be your most expensive option.
I went w/ the Lokar kit and am happy with it
Good luck

If the ebrake cables come out centered on the tub in the rear you should be able to use ZJ brake cables. But if a YJ is like a CJ and the ebrake connections are on the drivers side of truck you need to look somewhere else. I had a very hard time doing ebrakes on my CJ so i said f-it and i got a tcase mount ebrake.
Lots of people seem to have this problem and I've always wondered, why can't you just buy generic high strength wire cable by the foot and fab the connections on the ends yourself?

On my yj, I didnt have any problems getting enough slack for the passenger side. On the drivers side I just took the cable out of the plate near where it ties in with the other side. Then drilled a new hole in that plate as low as I could and ran the cable on top of the spring. It now still has slack in it when at full drop with a soa & 1.5" springs.
