wera269 12-14-2005, 03:20 PM I have my front toyota axle torn all the way down for a rebuild and while I was cleaning the inner knuckle to put in knuckle bearings in I noticed some pitting. Should I try and sand this out or just clean it up. I assume that small amounts of grease will make it's way out past the wiper seal if I just leave it. rollerskate 12-14-2005, 08:51 PM Thoroughly degrease the pitted areas, fill them in with JB Weld and then sand smooth.
