Couldn't find what I was looking for using the search (suck) function: But here's my question.
Has anyone ever redrilled there Toy axels to run the 5 on 5.5 sami wheel pattern? I have a set of brand new 4" BS wheels and I REALLY hate to get rid of them if I do the Toy swap, so I'm wondering if this would be a possability.

i have welded up and redrilled axles for dirt track cars before, but it warps the bolt flange.i trued them back up in a lathe. if you plan on driving it on the road at all i don't recommend it.

Brent the rears could be filled and redrilled the fronts you can not do that too. They only have meat where the stud is now. As far as DSI's He and moto did Wagy axles not toy.

You don't happen to have adapters do you??? Just thought I'd ask.

Thats one of the main reason to do a d44 and 9" change instead of toys

In order to go from 5 on 5.5 to 6 on 5.5 you need a 2 pc adapter and they are not cheap. If it was not a change in bolt circle diameter it wouldnt be a problem.

you might check that the hub will fit through the wheel and steering arms won't rub

In that build they drilled a zuk rotor to 6 on 5.5 for the rear disc setup on a toy axle...

I understand the rear what do you do about the front where the studs press through the hub.. You cant redrill that.. Also to put a zuk rotor on the rear of a toy axle the OD of the axle flange has to be turned down to fit the rotor over it.. So buy new wheels

You talking about hub body? Then your're right for disc brake front toy axle hub body. If you'll look at old Land Cruiser's 40-series front axle with drum brakes you'll see that hub body allows to drill holes in wheel mounting flange near wherever you like. Hub bodies are interchangeable. I can supply photos of those hubs - I have them in my garage since i converted my front LC axle from drums to discs.
