Should all of your brake lines be converted to be the same size or does it not matter if you run w/ a prop valve?
I have such a frankenstein of Jeep parts on my YJ. I have a rear disc brake set-up from a Ford Exporer, the front is Ford outers with a Chevy knuckle with the Chevy 1/2 ton caliper/rotor set-up. To top that off, I have a Ford E-350 M/C and a YJ booster and no proportioning valve. I know the Chevy caliper is 7/16", haven't found out what size the explorer is yet, only found a part #, and the M/C requires brake lines that are 3/16" front and 1/4" rear.
So, should I buy one bulk size brake line and run it all the same or do I have to make the lines all specific? Where can you get a coupler that converts brake line sizes? My local parts place isn't that well supplied.
