God... just let this die why don't you...I've sat and watched all of these threads on the various boards and lists and I just don't understand. No this isn's a ploy by the seller. BTB is quite known and documented for selling a number of $100,000+ cruisers. But what I can't get is why so many people are freaking out about this. Obviously, any one here could build the same or better rig for less $$$ but this doesn't matter. The guy has $$$ and spent it on something that he loves by going to a specialty shop to have something custom. I am friends with quite a few people that have over $100,000 in their show cars and a two of my best friends have Choppers that were more than 60k and no one bats an eye other than... Damn, to dream. These are fully custom built rides.... built for them... to Spec... because they had the cash and lacked the knowledge or time to do it themselves. Also.. I don't think they intend to sell the rigs on ebay... It is just good advertising. Hell, EVERY board has had a post and link to the site so just imagine how many people have seen these, and you never know who is lurking. Besides, you NEVER buy high $$$$ items on ebay. You contact the seller and buy outside to save the fees. Why do you think there are so many Ferarri and Lamborghini's on ebay... advertising. Look at them, they NEVER sell. Why, because you call the guy up and say I want so and so and here is my cash... Hell, even Arnolds Pinz was on ebay for quite some time.... JUST FOR THE ADVERTISING!!! $$$$ is relative... the more you have the more $$$ the toys get.

Naahhh - we all run around saying how great are Cruisers are compared to a Jeep. Well If YOU were in the market for a Jeep, wouldn't you pay even 10% more than a new TJ to have a Cruiser like #2?
BTW - I could never get what I have into my Cruiser, but knowing what it cost me plus the possible divorce factor, $40k might be worth it if you had the bux.
