Guys, I use my '96 F350 CC PSD 4X4 for ranch work and for guiding hunts. I thought, with 225,000 miles on it, it might be fun to get a little more adventurous with it. I'd like to do a 3"-4" suspension lift, but still want to be able to haul heavy loads and pull a heavy gooseneck. Is there any aftermarket lift that will do this without breaking the bank...or, better yet, is there a homemade lift I could do myself from junkyard parts?

Thanks for any advice you could give me.

Front you need a reverse shackle kit that will give you the 3-4" lift while keeping the stock front springs. or you can put superduty front springs which will keep the same lift level but will smooth out the ride a bit more than just the RSK

Rear just buy different leaf springs DO NOT STACK BLOCKS with the factory block.

Before you go lifting it make sure that if you lift it 3-4" w/ suspension lifts & then I'm guesing another 1-2" from tires that you'll be able to adjust your GN collar up high enough.
