Only if I get to drive your truck. (hope it has a cage!!) Starting a new job in a new city after the first of the year. I got no rig and no where to build it. I sure have collected some cool parts though. I am thinking of getting a ticket to el paso and meeting some of yall there for a couple of days. We'll see

Sure would be a cool truck, but you would be better off building your own instead of buying something so obviously illegal.
Wonder why the truck still has Ore tags if it's in NM? :D

Sure is nice looking

I've spoken to a coupla folks who've flown to look at that truck. Apparently, it's not quite as nice in person.

One thing I found curious was the use of a B-W transfer case (if it's the same vehicle).

I think that is Nathan Hindmans old truck. That came from Ben Freeman in Oregan. I bet a guy from OK named Joe Deere owns that conglomeration now. If it is Joe Deere, then steer clear. He deals in art and other more deviant acts as well. Another guy named Shawn Hunter may be involved in it as well.
I had plans to buy it for a Cummins project before Nathan made a deal with Ben on it. It would be the ultimate tow vehicle. I have collected about 2/3 of the parts to build one now.

The onlyproblem being everyone knows that U-haul destroys their trailers and does not sell them to the public, so it is obviously STOLEN.

Mike, I gotta know how much you would take for the CC.

So Mike, how well does that thing tow? If I remember correctly your running a short block, maybe 350? I'll bet a Cumming 4bt would be real nice!

You know, it actually tows really nice. The long wheelbase is a dream to tow with, but the 350 could use some more oomph.

If I'm flat-towing the S1, I don't notice the hills much, but with the LWB on a car-carrier (and a heavy one at that), the hills were pretty long and steep.

A CTD would have been the trick...wish I would have had the $$$ at the time to have done that. The diesel options were just too expensive, but now looking back probably would have been worth it. Even a big-block would have been nice.

The idea was to standardize with the small-block that is in the S1, but really it wouldn't have mattered to have had another engine.

But...it tows REALLY nice.

Mace, PM me if you really wanna know. :)

That's a serious amount of work for a serious truck. It took me about an hour just to read about it.
