Gasket behind Master Cyc.

Ok, I know this sounds stupid, But i had someone tellme that I should have a gasket behind my master cycl. but when I changed out the crapped out one, and put on the new one, there was not one there When I took it off? could this bee the air leak i am getting.

you need the gasket because the Suzuki does not run a sealed booster
instead the master cylinder has the seal
that being said I run manual brakes (diesels have no vacum therefore they do not suck.....) <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I pulled it last night and noticed that there was not gasket? sooooo a little RTV and a call to the Dealer in Poulsbo,( i think thats right) and they said thats what they do w/ em...

UPDATE,

A little RTV and back to good <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">, NOw its just new brake shoes and I'll stop like a champ <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0">..well a champ w/ rear drums.. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
