Well I picked this up a couple weeks ago it runs great no eaks no drips and it drives great except, the 94 zj 4.0 is hooked up to a 3speed! And its jerky as hell when you let off the gas and when you get on it a little I mean it pops me outof the seat sometimes. What Automatic can I put in this that will fit my cj-5. Its got a T-150 3 speed, Dana 20 T-case. As of now and everything works great just not very driver friendly

Thanks for any help ideas, Yes I have been searching.

thanks in advance.

TH350 or 700R4 depending on whether you want a 3 or 4 speed. Adapters from Novak or Advance. Your problem will be that your rear driveshaft will end up quite short. Manual trani's are shorter and won't be as much of a problem. What do you use the Jeep for?

well I bought it for a DD, every other week wheeler. Going full width next year. I can do manual no problem just thought The auto's were shorter I didn't think about it.lol

So manual is another option just need to get rid of that jerky poping me out of the seat t-150.

thanks for your help!

Can't use the 700R4, it's too short for it and not recommended.
I use a TH350C in my 55CJ. Call either Advance, or Novak for this conversion. You might just need a clutch? try a diaphram instead of a three finger.
