Has anybody had this lift or has it? Pros and Cons?
I have a 91 xlt 4L
I would get the stage II skyjacker kit but I dont want to spend all that $$$$ .
Ive got my samurai for the hard offroad stuff.

That will have to bee all up to you. I have talked to a guy with one of those and he had noting but trouble springs saging way to much and stuff like that. But that is only one guy others have been pleased with it. Thats the same way I am with mine I have nothing but good things about my Rough Country lift but others have hated them. I guess it all depened on what you happen to get I have heard both good and bad form them

I know a guy with the 4" BDS lift on his Explorer. He isn't too impressed with the coils. Seems they are already sagged and it hasn't even been a year yet.

how much was your rough country lift? where did you buy it from? if you dont mind me askin.

Thats some good info paul , If i do go for the 6" bds lift , I might buy the 8" skyjacker coils insted of the bds coils , cause I know the skyjacker coils will sink after a while ,and with my big 4L and my big 200 pound bumper it should be level.
Any other input would be great.

HAHAHAH funny you asked. I bought it direct from Rough Country. How much did I pay well I payed for a 2WD 83-97 4" Ranger Pickup W/Shocks which was $430.00 I ended up getting 4WD 83-96 4" Ranger, Bronco II W/Shocks & Arm W/Rear Springs which was $670.00. so I kind of lucked out I only had to send the front brakets back becuse there differnet then my 2wd ones and I got a 600$ plus lift for under 500$.
Only thing I have done to it is swap out the 4" RC coils for some 5.5" Superlift coils to suport the weight of my pipe bumber.
sounds like you have the right idea about sawping out for bigger springs.
