where is thread more important on a wheeler? front or back? 2 of my tires are more worn than the other 2 (old alignment issues), and i'm curious if i should put the ones with the thread on the front or the back.

i'm thinking front since there's more weight there and they're leading?

thanks.

I would put the good ones in front, they do more than steering.

good tires always in front, even on a DD so if theres a blowout the front wont lose control. and on the front for a wheeler cuz you need tread for the mud and steering

Rear tires wear out quicker, so if you put the good ones on the rear they will all wear out closer to the same time.

Not in all cases 73 ford bronco with winch up front and no sway bars... i shave the outer lugs of my wheels in 10k miles.

rear ones are almost like new....
