I recieved Toyota manuals for x-mas. I know the 2F is right, but i don't think the other one applys to me. I have a 82 FJ-40, the manual says 1984 Land Cruiser (Heavy Duty) Chasis and Body. The Toyota people swore up and down to my mom that my 82 FJ-40 was covered in this manual, but its not........which one do i need?

the internal drive train stuff should work for you still ... if its a toyota book I would think it would still have both in it for body but the drive trail is the same

thanks Kling.....yeah the Toyota website manual Search feature sucks.....i type in 1982 Land Cruiser.....and it gave me the 1984 HD manual...or my mom/santa rather.....so she got that one. Gets it in the mail and even she realizes theres no "FJ-40" anywhere in it. I know the drivetrain stuff is accurate, but i want diagrams of doors and hardtop and everything about the 40. I'm pretty sure I just need the 1980 FJ-40 Body and Chasis, not much changed from 79-82.

screw that, FSM 1980 Body and Chasis is like $57-$67 on the toyota publication site. SOR can get $160 from someone else, I am just sending the 84 back in exchange for the 80.
