Its only a 'cruiser on the outside guys, so gimme a break. I am in the process of putting a NV4500+ np203 range box into my v8 fj40. Anybody got links to the GM (or even dodge in the case of the tranny) shop manuals for these items? Or any one have these and willing to loan-BIG FAVOR I know-

Yes I did the search, & posted in General Forum. Also searched coloradoK5.com. Thanks in advance.

I would check with Stephen with www.offroaddesign.com He's the guru or could probably send you in the right dirrection. Stephen also has a Q&A forum on Colorado K5. He's in Moab this week so give it a few day's.
So you ride with the Cruisers? Thunk Patrick W in the back of the head next time you see him and tell him it was from Eric :)

Thanks Grim, I call ORD all the time for tech advice, didn't know about stephen though. Haven't been able to hook up with the georgia cruisers yet, they meet the 1st tuesday of the month and I either forget or have "stuff" to do.

Don't listen to Beater, the rig is tame but slowly getting WILD. big plans, little budget. Just worked out a deal for 35x15 boggers and have no money to make them fit!!

I am just finishing up rebuilding my 93 GM NV4500 (actually put the 23 spline Dodge mainshaft in too) and I found the GM technician reference manual invaluable.

Info here:

http://www.off-road.com/jeep/reviews/jlnv4500.htm

It is worth the $19, and will work with any NV4500 (as the bearing support and basic gear arrangement is exactly the same , hence why you can easily swap shafts).

I know a few of the cruiser guy's And if itwasn't for needing a back seat for the kids I sure would like a FJ40. Neigbor has a sweet one for sale down the street but it's far too nice to trail. It's absolutly beautiful. Painted hugger orange. Sounds like a V8 conversion.
Well if mondays are a problem how about Saturday? I run with www.gbr4wd.com (not a netscape friendlysite) We meet first Saturday and have a few cruisers (both the trucks and club members) that run with us.
As for money and cruisers hehehe I Own a Supra and if parts prices on it are any indication I know them cruisers will bleed you dry in a hurry when building them.
