well you suck cause that doesn't help me in the least bit:flipoff2: cause i drive an fj40.

thanks the elctrical wiring helps. and merry christmas:D i'd prefer the switch in the cab versus under the hood. easy to kill the batteries incase of fire or roll over or to jump start ones self. looks good thought.

I put it under the hood in the location it is in as a hopefully addition of theft deterrent. When its parked somewhere shady, the switch will be in the off position. Sure, its not rocket science to figure it out, but hopefully by the time the thief figures it out, i already got 2-3 good whacks with my louisville on him! :D :D :D

i guess with your cruiser its harder to open the hood than an old fj40:D i'm thinking about using a "keyed" battery selector switch. it uses a key similar looking to an "old" cat key crossed with a freezer key. figure i can turn it off and take the key with me. even with the keys in the ignition it won't start:D

Yeah, i thought of using one of those too but had my heart set on the Blue Seas brand and they dont make one yet. Oh well!

off topic but where you headed in baja? I did the whole drive last year and loved it. By far the best road trip ever taken.

No where extreme. Just heading to the hot springs of Guadalupe Canyon, about 3 hours south:
