I am looking for an air fitting. I dont even know the name of it or where to get one. But it is the one they use at a tire center for setting the beads. I want to be able to take a valve core out and be able to clip it on so that I can do the same thing from home. TIA

A CLIP ON AIR CHUCK? You should be able to get one at just about any auto parts store.

Nope, for the kind they carry at the auto store you have to leave the valve stem in, and it doesnt let the air in fast enough. Nice caps though, I aint fawking retarded :flipoff2:

Not sure that I've seen anything that goes on a standard air hose.

no, it is similar to a clip on one but it is just straight thru flow. I guess I can see if I can take a clip on one apart.

We have them at my tow company, they use them to put slime in a tire, but it came as part of the install kit. I guess I could try a tire company and ask them where they get them at.

Ask at your tow company... :)

It may just be that they reamed out a standard chuck. To put slime in, don't you have to remove the valve anyway? If so, you don't need the internals of the chuck to push the valve in. I'd assume that it would be the same to seat the bead.

no, it is a different kind all together and it came part of the kit that the Slime rep gave them. Plus asking them would be like verbally askign questions to my computer screen.

I'll get some pics tonight and post up.

My old shop, I just took the valve core out, took the air hose, pulled the quick lockthing back and put it on the valve stem.
