Funny- I just looked at a 78 F150 4x4 here in CA this afternoon. It has a 351w/a dead hole, C6, 205, RC 44 with disc brakes and a 9". The cab is ok and the bed is pretty rusted. The owner is asking $500.00 but I'm sure he'd take $400.00. I just interested in the axles. Don't know if this helps answer your question.

haha... That's exactly the type of deal I need to find. I too am looking for a set of axles from those vehicles.. Not sure what I'd do with the whole vehicle though ;-)

The truck is in Discovery Bay. I'm not going to buy it. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll reply with the guy's number. BTW- it's listed in todays issue of the Contra Costa Times:)
