I'm thinking of starting my parts pile for the "Scout Also". It has a twin-stick Model 20 in it. I'd like to put some model 18 gears in it. Does it matter which model 18? I know that they had 3 (I think it's 3) different intermediate shafts.

TIA,
Joel

You use the Bronco slider (I can't remember if that's the only part on the intermediate shaft or not).. I'm thinkin' it's the only unit on the intermediate shaft, so it shouldn't really matter.

You could also just use all EB gears.. which is the route I started down.. ohh.. Yikes.. 4 years ago. :D

I guess those lower t'case gears just haven't been a priority yet..

Okay, so I need any 18 and then a Bronco slider?

BTW, not going full bronco because it would cost too much...the 18 will most likely be free:D

Funny.. that's what I paid for my complete and working Bronco Dana 20. :D

My buddy had a couple lying around that were missing just the slider.. :D

And for free.. heck, take it, and even if it doesn't work out, you're not out anything. :D
