i have a dana 60 SF axle that i just swapped in it has a 1350 yolk (i think, the 1310 will fit in the joint but the caps won’t go all the way to the ends of the yolk) i want to use my current DS has a 1310 u joint. i know you can buy conversion u-joints but where? i know you can get a 1310 yolk for a 60 but they are pricey. can i get this ujoint at a parts store (is there a car that had it on it that i could tell the autozone fools what to get)?

i did some searching but i can up as empty handed as and old man trying to get a woody.

The yoke you are looking after is a spicer pn 2-4-3801x, and should run you about 30-35 dollars. As far as a conversion joint, use a 5-460x, but they run about 30 dollars as well.

damn only 30 bucks for the new yolk? i call a local 4x4 shop and they said they get them from spicer for $59.00, i had a feeling that guy was full of crap.

they have the conversion joint at O'Reilys you just have to keep beating them over the head until they go get it, because they will tell you that it doesn't exist and then act real supprised when you jump behind the counter and go get it.

I just bought a conversion yoke from West Coast Differentials for ~$29. CHEEP and no crazy u-joint that you will never find on the trail if your in a pinch!
