I've got a Dana 60 and 70 out of a '92 3/4T Dodge, SRW.
The axles are getting cut down 3" then installed in my leaf sprung 4Runner.
Is the backspacing of a factory Hummer beadlocked wheel compatible with the SRW/leaf sprung application? I'm concered with a 39" Irok coming into contact with the leaf springs and also the wheel lockout being exposed.

Thanks.

I'm curious about this also. The last time I searched, the only issue that was mentioned was the steering arms possibly interfering with the rims. Nobody said anything about tires hitting springs.

FWIW, the suggested solution (for the steering arm issue) was to recenter the H1 rims. Unfortunately, that seems to take some of the advantage of the rims away; i.e., the big offset rims, coupled with a wide axle, results in a close to stock Toyota overall width. Recentering the rims makes everything very wide for a Toy.

Anyone?

stock 78 dodge 60. stock H1 wheel. WFO heavy duty arms. 37x12.5x16.5 TSLs catch the lugs on the spring at full steering lock. I'd assume your 39s will also.

even more so, since he's narrowing his, that's unfortunate to hear. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but don't want the tires to rub on the springs

Chances are I'll get a set of Hummer beadlocks recenterd or maybe try to get a set of H2 17s. Thanks for the replies.
