FWIW-I just learned that early RRC wiper motors are nearly identical to those found on similar vintage Rollers. The wiring is slightly different, but can be swapped over easily enough. The RR motor said Lucas, the RRC motor said Delco:flipoff2:
Time to change my sig line to include parts for Rolls Royces!
I never know what's gonna show up around here!

Along the same vein, it looks like the rear axle under my '48 bentley is nearly identical to an early series axle.
Fun Rolls/Bentley (please don't call them "rollers") fact of the day: the local RR dealer's labor rate is $20/hour less that the local Rover dealer.

Funny, that's what both of my clients who own them and my college friend from England call them. Sorry for my ignorance:flipoff2:

Pet peeve; no more, no less.
If you're now wrenching on 80's RRs, watch that brake fluid, when it says it wants mineral oil, it REALLY wants mineral oil. Dot 3/4/5 will destroy the MC to the tune of serious $. It's one of the main reasons you can pick up Shadows for peanuts. Great cars, though, if they're driven (kinda like that low mileage defender that seems so appealing until you realize every seal is dry).
