I encourage anyone who is interested in the situation at Wellsville and the sad state of Ohio trails in general to consider supporting the Ohio Multiple Use Trails Association (http://www.ohiotrails.org/).

I had the good fortune of meeting Bill Kaeppner last night and learning of all the good work he's doing. For example, Bill has crafted legislation (just passed in the Ohio House) to limit the liability of landowners who allow people to recreate on their land. Bill and OMTA are doing all sorts of great things for us, at the legislative, bureaucratic, and trail levels.

They will also be at the center of the Wellsville campaign. While many folks are involved in various ways, Bill and OMTA will provide a lot of the "intelligence" and input into laws, ownership, working with bureaucracy.

Even if you cannot or prefer not to contribute monetarily, ask Bill to be added to his email list. This will ensure you get all of the latest news on Ohio issues. Just please get involved!
