what suspension would you put in it? thinking of getting a 2wd and converting it to 4wd about 7-10k cheaper to get a 2wd. I'm thinking of putting 2k in suspension that i will fabercate myself, 2k in a tranny or go with the 0TT divorce toy t-case? would be nice.

I'd go with the ott divorced toy--that way you don't have to mess with anything but driveshafts and crossmembers.

I hope you go ahead with it, I think it would be a great build!

1stt you'll need to get rid of the rack and pinion............


guess an Isuzu Trooper Box or a Toyota box would be the obvious choices.



does that truck have a 10 bolt rear like the S-10's?

it seems that you can only get the manuel tranny in the 2.8l :( but it does 175hp bran spanking new 2006 no miles is 14,000 right now.

Geez... This is another Colorado/Canyon clone. Actually, Isuzu designed those as I hear it. Well, here's what the bellhousing looks like.

Fits 4.2, 3.5 and 2.8L. This bell is from a 2.8.
