One of our company trucks, a 2005 F250 with the 6.0L powerstroke diesel got smashed on a jobsite today and insurance is going to total it. I now have the possibility of picking up the Engine, Trans, and Transfer case for about $3000:cool2: I wouldnt have the time or means to undertake the engine swap for about two years, so for now the parts would just sit in our warehouse. Its such a good deal I dont want to pass it up and its worth it for me to let it sit there for a while. Yes it still runs just fine, the rest of the thing is another story. I love the thought of having an International Diesel in the D2, but if it will not fit no matter what I think im just gonna let the whole thing go to the junk yard. And yes I know, if I do it, I'll be sure to take lots of pics :D

just buy the drivetrain and resell it. You should be able to easily sell it for 7000+ It won't fit in a disco very well because of the placement of the turbo and physical size of the engine. And like was said above you're going to have to completely redesign your front end to handle the weight. I guess it would have some cool factor, but I would just buy it and resell it make some money and put the money into the disco. You could probably do a 300 tdi swap with the profit you make.
Oh yeah those 6.0s aren't that great of engines like was said above.
