I took apart my 205 last night.Under both yokes was a rubber seal,it was contour'd to the splines.
Is this just a safety seal to insure that fluid doesn't leak out between the splines?

Where can I get these new?

The other TC's i've taken apart didn't have these.

Parts store told me they were crush sleeves------out of rubber:shaking:

Do I need these?

Oh and both yoke nuts were loose when I went to remove them, used 3/8 ratchet and no pressure hardly.
Splines look good,tight no rotational movement,they did have in out play,before removal.

Ok, just say a similar post in general about this.

Where can I get the "star" seals 32 spline?
