Phase 1 was rebuild/build tranny SYE the transfer case, tranny crossmember. after doing this i realized i will need another 1" added to my Motor lift (1 1/2") for a total of 2 1/2" :eek:

Phase 2 is to build the 60,61 axles, custom 4 link rear, custom 5 link front, motor mount lift, Steering arms

Phase 3 is Skid Protection, Fuel Cell, Tune Up, finish Exo Cage, hydro steering, snorkle, driveshafts (Jess), radio, brake lines

looks like 6-7 weeks

WOW last night i rolled a 42" tire up to the Jeep (with the Jeep sitting on the frame) the tire came up over the hood !!!) i lifted the Jeep so i had 10" inbetween the top of the tire and the cut fender... (about 5"up travel at the spring and 9" at the tire flexing)

89" overall width

Cutting fenders a lot? My Jeep is also 83" to the roll bar and I only have 38.5x14.5's ;)

Axles are shaved, just have to paint and re-install the front. Then I start my ram assist, behind the axle, high steer.

one ton how much room do you have from the top of your tire to the fender ?

Not sure - never measured it. Here is a level driveway pic to help estimate:

Looks like the distance between the top of the tire and the TOP of the fender is about 10" (comparing it to the 15" rim).

Can't measure right now. Jeep is on jackstands while I finish up the work. Plus it is riding on 35" AT's right now (leaving on a 2500 mile trip to Paragon and Tellico in two weeks).

thanks, it does look like you have about 10" up travel at the wheel... i was thinkin that is about what i need (thinkin my coil spring will compress about 5" would move the tire about 10"
