I love my blazer it's a great vehicle but I want a Jeep Cherokee or a forign pickup.. I'm really just looking to swap so if you have something let me know.
About my Blazer. It's a 1989 S-10 Blazer Tahoe with the 4.3 TBI and Auto Tranny.
I got the vehicle from up North so it had some body rust but I had all the rusted panels cut out and new panels welded in and a complete paint job not even 2 months ago.
It has a 3" body lift, 31x10.5x15 tires on progressive 5 star wheels, I installed a new Pioneer Receiver that is Satellite ready and plays WMA's & MP3's about a month ago, I also built a new center console with multiple 12v power outlets and installed a CB / Wx radio. Other things done in the past few months - throttle body base gasket replaced, temperature sensor replaced, blower motor replaced (last week), lift struts and striker plate, new seat covers (only drivers has tear along seams).
It also has tube steps and a tube rear bumper with a class 3 receiver built in.
It's a great daily driver, it's not perfect but you can drive it and work on anything it may need. I know it needs the exhaust donut gasket on the passenger side (I have the part) and I know it needs a headliner (bare metal roof). I'm confident I could get in it right now and drive across country if I had to.
I just snapped a couple of pics in the parking lot with a co-workers camera. I just washed it on Friday but went to the MX track the other day so it's dirty again..
