I use to work at a parts store, and all by books do not have this needed info. Sorry.:(

But you would think with all that money you sunk into Warn that they would help! Did you buy direct, or go through a distributor? Try talking to a distributor rep and see what he can do. Reps use to be my saviors.
Goodluck.

P.S. I will do some looking on my end to see what I can come up with, but can't promise anything.

"Could" the wheel bearings on a 72-86 CJ Dana 30, (or even fords D28 IFS) be the same bearings used on the Warn XJ/YJ/TJ hub conversion kit?

Going out on a limb here:flipoff2:

I say take it apart and look at the bearing. They are almost always stamped on there somewhere.

Well, if you know, then why are ya' askin'?!

As CJ5 said, take it apart (it will be good practice for ya'), check the bearing P/N's, then call up Berry Bearing and get some genuine Timken's for cheap.

Called a few contacts, and no help there. Some ancient chinese secret.

If this is a daily driver, then why are you still driving it if you suspect possible bearing failure?
If you're just getting info for spares, then thats different. But still, bearings do need a periodic inspection, wouldn't hurt to tear it down some evening or weekend. This typically only takes @ an hour anyway, thats including holding a  in one hand.

Like Nike commercials say, "JUST DO IT.":flipoff2:

Grease them while you're in there.

Finally after 2 hours on the phone for the 300th time with Warn i got the part numbers. 102949 & 501349 I think they where.

I got some water up in them a while ago so I am sure they need changing, and also got a odd wobble.

Thanks for all the help.

One other thing:

Pack them with marine bearing grease

If you can get ahold of BG products, go for it. they have I think the best automotive chemicals known. Their marine grease fights water and aeration better than anything else I've found. Sure it costs a little more, but there is no price on being stranded in BFE.:D
