i don't think it can be done. you have to run your stock axles and 27's hope this helps. ;)

Hey poppy I thought you had to down size the rear to a chevette and put the independent off of a Yamaha Blaster on the front to get it to work well:D

I just bought two older rear LC axles for $100. It looks to me to be an easier swap than the truck axles, because of the differential location. I'm going to run MR2 disc brake set up for the rear, is that somthing you were thinking about as well? That's about all I know for now, I'll be starting the swap soon.

The TLC axles should be fairly easy to swap in but...

Since you are in the UK wouldn't LR'er axles be better/cheaper?

Just a thought.

With your SJ frame the passenger side spring perch might ride up the differential. It does when swapping Sam axles to an SJ at least.

What size tires you shooting for? Those TLC diffs are damn big - you need big tires to get ground clearance under the diff.

Should be cool (and bullet proof!) when you get it done. Make sure you add at least another 30 hp to compensate for the weight of the axles (that's a joke).
