I have a 1975 Cherokee and a wrecked 1982 Wagoneer the cherokee has blown 258 in it and the wagoneer has a good drivetrain it has a 360 in it I want to do a engine swap the Cherokee is a standard and the wagoneer is a automatic the Cherokee is a stock 3-speed I would like to keep it a standard will the standard from the cherokee directly bolt up to the 360 engine. I also have a Chevy 350 engine I would rather use but I'm not sure what modifications it would take ie.. trans adapter etc.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Treed61

That 3 speed is a T15. Chevy 350 have are cheaper to build than a AMC360.
The swap can be done. Depends on how much time and effort ya wanna put into it. I'll let you be the judge. Start reading here first:
