I have a stock LR Tranny cooler (one of the tubular ones that has the splines sticking out of it. I have two choies for what to do with it. A power steering cooler or a tranny cooler....

My question is how efficiently do they actually work? HOw do they compare to the plate style tranny coolers?

I'm having kind of hard time with stock tranny cooler. Transmission get overheated after 600~700 miles of continuous driving on a normal hot day. Starts smoking and the light comes up in the dash. I'm definitely looking to improve something here....
