Bent it on a tree and don't feel liike giving the Dealer Nazis another 85 bucks for a new one. Straightening this one is till an option but I hate sloppy sttering jobs. Doesn't seem too safe. Any help?

junk yard should have plenty. Parts stores carry cheap ones for $12 sometimes. That is ofcoarse if your still running 1/2 tons :flipoff2:

The Rockstomper (http://www.rockstomper.com/catalog/steering/rockrods/rockrod.htm) Rock rod is very durable. To me this is the only way to go unless ya wanna spring for high steer :D

Do you have crossover steering? If your goning to work on the steering it Might be a good time to install it. IMO

yeah, go with the rockstomper man, their sleeved rods are BE-FEE. I am gonna set up my own hydro assist and have NO doubt the their rock rod will be able to suck up whatever force the hydralic ram exerts on it. They even have a pic on their site of a fullsize Blazer being held up on a jack by the rockrod...

Dude rockstomper..it's worth it. In one of the pics below you will see they lifted a Toy with a Rock Rod on it. I did the same with my blazer several times last weekend. One time was when one of the forks of my forklift slipped off the axle tube and caught on the RockRod. NO BEND AT ALL!!!
