Hello.

I am going to swap out my transmission oil cooler lines. Is the procedure as simple as it was with the engine oil cooler lines? Do I just drain the Trans fluid, take off old lines, put new lines on and refill? Anything else I should do while I'm under there? How much trans fluid will I need?

How do I do get rid of them? I'm in Arizona, it gets really hot here, is that a good idea?

It's January and I'm wearing shorts and a tshirt.

OK, replacing the tranny cooler lines can be a PITA. There will be situations where you wonder how they ever got the damned things in place (the lines have had to have gone in before the drivetrain).

There will be situations where you'll be really questioning whether or not it's a good idea.

The amount of fluid you'll need is a difficult one to answer. Some trannies dump more than others. A calibrated drain pan is handy here.

Chris B, did you not get your answer and that is why you posted the same question on other boards?
