I picked up a set of 44's out of a waggy that was quadra trac. problem is: some a-hole pulled the gears out of the hubs you know the big hub gear where the lockout hub gears should be. anyway I am hunting a set of these if any of Yall know where a set could be had.

do I buy warn hubs to fit a wagoneer or do I need to buy hubs for some other application? like internal hubs to fit a 3/4 ton chevy or something?

Warns for a wagoneer will be the same part numbers as those for chevy, ford 3/4 ton int. etc...they are all internal 44. Basically the only thing to watch out for is that they arent the external ones. Ask for a Wag set, why bother cross referencing?

I paid $120 for the Warn Premiums that are my Scout, a 44 is a 44 is a 44.

Not all 44s are the same. Scout 44s are different, they use the external bolt/stud style like some jeeps. I had a Scout for many years and had a hard time keeping those friggin' things tight with the front locker. Gozuki is correct, the wagi uses the internal style (way better)like chevys etc.

Again, Scouts and CJ type 30s use 5 or 6 bolt EXTERNAL bolts to hold the hub on. They are both crap, with the 6 bolt SLIGHTLY less crappy. "3/4 ton style" are INTERNALLY held by a snap ring to hold the splines in, then 6 very small screws to hold the dial on. They are not all the same!
