Anybody with an original tub, and too much time on their hands want too measure the rear tub of a 40 series? You know the feeling, you and your axle grinder are getting medieval on that rusted, ugly rear tub, then get a little carried away and before you know it you've cut out the entire rear section. Then when you proudly look at the pile of rusted metal you cut out, only then you realize DAMN I forgot to measure the whole thing. I know, I'm an idiot!! :rasta:
What i am looking for is the width of the rear tailgate, how wide the bed is inbetween the fenders, how high the rear fenders are and how wide the rear fenders are.

I don't have too much time on my hands but I can help a cruiser buddy! I measured mine in four spots and got 140mm in each location in the back , @ 1/3 @ 2/3 and in the front of the bed between the fender wells. The fender wells are 19mm high x 29mm wide, the rear body is 39mm from the top of the body edge to the bottom edge of the bed inside.
I hope this is of help to you!
