A few. To my knowledge, Dougal (see tweaked radius arm thread) has the most recent posts.

I have a few questions.

I have a good buddy that lives in Dunedin and travels back to visit his Yankee roots each year. He is willing to haul parts for me, so What kind of money is a TF727 core selling for and any idea's were to get one on the south island? . I just want the bell housing adapter and rear output housing and shaft.

Many Thanks Cheers:beer:

I think these boxes would be pretty cheap here considering the number of wrecked rangies. I don't have a handle on the costs myself but the kiwi landrover board is at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/NZLANDROVEROwners/
I will post for you there and see what comes up.

for starters in NZ I would try www.rjr.co.nz and Hoskins landrover parts in Christchurch is the only South Island place I know. They're not very web literate however...

these are from the 82-85 rangies right?

Thought I was onto a free one but it was only a manual 4spd box...

I'm in Dunedin.

The wreckers in NZ seem to want the earth for old rangie parts. It's often cheaper to buy an old dead one for the parts you need than to buy a few key items.

www.trademe.co.nz is a good source for second hand rover parts, but I don't see many good auto boxes coming through.
