Removing Portal box race.. help

I need to remove the race for the bearing on the upper gear.. the one that remains in the upper cavity of the portal box.

To clarify, when you take the box apart, the box itself has the seal, the large bearing (retained by a large snap ring) and a smaller race for the upper gear/stub shaft...

What's the method/tool to remove this race?
