so im a little confused... ive read that the xterra will fit and the frontier crawler gears will fit in the R50. and ive also read that nothing will. will any crawler gears fit?? cuz my stock ones and 4.3 gears suck on the trail with 33s and a stick! and ive read there isnt any ring and pinion sets that fit.

"This gearset will fit all Nissan TX-10 transfer cases available in all Nissans worldwide." - CALMINI
those t-case gears will fit your R50. just tell calmini which engine you have. or better yet, send them an e-mail or call them. they'll know whats up..:D

i think he is asking about t-case gears...just noting that no rp sets are available.

are you sure they don't offer R&P gears for your R50? i'm thinking you have a H233B/R200A combo. if so, AC has gears.

they might have r&p gears for them, but I would personally spend the $ on t-case gears...much easier to install, same price, and a lot more performance out of them.

The 96-04 Pathfinder has a unique front diff, it's a high-pinion version of the R200A and there are no gears for it other than the factory 4.363 and 4.636.

All R50s have V6 engines: VG33E 96-00, VQ35DE 00.5-04

The gears won't fit the ones with the All-mode transfer case...

The All-Mode is also not called the TX-10A, and had somewhat better low-range gearing to begin with. If he has a 96 then it has a TX-10A, the All-Mode wasn't offered back then. First appeared on the QX4 then showed up on the R50 later.

Right, the all-mode is the planetary reduction ATX14A with a 2.596:1 ratio
