CSC with SPOA installed

Here are a few pics with the spring over installed. It's now running the CSC kit with 5 leaf YJ's on all four corners and the RRO spoa pads.

I will have some action pics as soon as I have the new rear drive shaft installed.

Yeah, shocks are on the agenda. I just need to figure out how I want to work it. I need to cycle the suspension and see just how far up the wheels will go into the wheelwell for new bumpstops. Once I have that figured out then I can get a shock that will work.

I purposely went with cheap shocks for now since I knew I would still be working out the details.

i know a couple of guys running wrangler springs and they one uses rancho 9012's (13" of travel) and the other uses pro-comp with the same amount of travel. the 9000's are better on the sami's cause you can adjust them way down to compensate for the light weight of the zuk. the pro-comps are rough on the sami. they both use the ford shock towers in the front. you may be able to run you current front shocks in the back if you cantilever them... you know mount them at an angle towards the middle of the frame on a custom mount.

I've got the rear shocks mounted inboard already. I'm actually running the same shocks front and rear (16" compressed/26" extended - equivalant to the 9112's).

I can fully extend the rear end, but the front is seriously limited on drop. I plan on pulling the front shocks just to see what it will really do. I just don't want to go with too long of a front shock and over compress it and bust a shock mount.

Can't tell how long the brake lines are, but you might want to watch those when you flex it out also. They look too short in the picture. If they are close to too short, replace them. I found out the hard way just how much lateral axle movement you get on the trail and my breaklines, which looked ok on the ramp, were getting seriously yanked on the trail <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> . No stoppy is no goody <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> .

My brakelines should be plenty long. I went with 20" front lines and 23" rear lines.

Even when fully extended, the lines still had a large bend in them. They were no where near straight. I actually have a small close end bungie keeping the line from touching the tire up front.

I will be checking clearance on everything (brakelines, ebrake cable, shocks, bumpstops, etc) once I can really flex it up though.

Yeah, I've got my rear CV shaft on order and my leaking brake cylinder being replaced. The only thing left is to get some pumpkin caps done (did you and Dan get around to making any yet?).
