I'm planning on fabbing up some brackets for my 8.8.

I was planing on using 1/4" square tubing, making Templates of the stock ones with card board the transfering the pattern over to the tubing..

sound about right?

any hints or tips?

Sounds like they would be sturdy enough. The Teraflex ones I have on my rear are made out of 3/16" plate. The only reason I bought mine was because I didn't have the time or the facilities to make my own.

I was going to buy some. but I'm in Canada and by the time anything gets here its cost an arm and a leg.. I was quoted 350-400$ depending on what I got.. but for 40$ in material and a weekend I can fabb some up..
