i dont think a dana 44 was used on any f-250 but i can be wrong, isnt there a stamp on it or a tag? same as the t-case. should be a stamped tag on the t-case

A 75 F250 with a closed knuckle front would be a D60.

Well the 205 was a small steel case and is verry good and the front was avalible with a d44 however I dunno about a closed nuckel D60???Should be a D44.How much?

Most likely a Dana 44-6CF-HD closed-knuckle D44. Not considered very 'desirable'. The divorced case would be either a 205 gear case or 203 chain case, depending on whether is was full-time (203) or part-time (205) 4wd.

Closed knuckle fronts had brake drums and small shafts/ujoints. I don't see how any of those parts would be useful on your GM D44 when you can just get GM 8 lug stuff pretty cheap.

Hell for 200, buy it. If it breaks down on ya, sell it to a bone yard for $80. Its not cheap fun, but I am sure you have blown more than that before. :smokin:
