Alright i just bought a 1999 for explorer. I Bought a 2wd because it was a great deal.. Anyways i have a dana 44 that i would like to put in it. The rear believe has the 8.8 with discs, so that will work for the rear. What do i need to do to the frame to make it work? I am going to replace the tranny and install a Np205 transfer case. I basically need to know what i need to do to the frame and suspension to make it work.

Check www.explorerforum.com and look under the projects forum and you'll find all kind of good info.
