Does anyone know of any good pics or a write up showing a nice quarter elliptical leaf spring setup? I am thinking of this for my project 'Bronco Redux'.

Why are you stupid?

those other guys were harsh.
"double triangulated" describes a link configuration
"quarter elliptical" describes a spring type
there is no reason you couldnt have a double triangulated with quarter elliptical springs.
that is why you got the harsh replies

There was a sweet buggy at Mud Creek in Jacksonville, TX new years. He had a quarter elliptical rear suspension and it looked trick. He said it flexed really good.

Thanks for the replys (mostly)... Yes - suspension location as in 4 link is one thing - suspension springs as in leaf - coil - quarter - airbags - nissanowners - are a different thing. I am going to locate the axle with a 4 link, and probably coils. The quarter ellipitical is trick, flexes major big time, and also takes mucho fabrication because the bulky end of the pack has to be fixed firmly to the frame and with the wieght that I'll still be carrying around, will be heavier to implement then coils. Plus - big coils are way cheaper... duh!
So - anyway I'd S T I L L like to actually see some good pictures of 1/4 elliptical spring setups - haven't found a dang thing except little tiny pictures shot from way back showing flex and if you look closely - HEY - they are there but this helps in no way. Come on people - somebody have a camera and a bud with a trick spring setup make me proud.

Search the snort board and look for S&N stuff. They did allot of 1/4 stuff a few years ago and still do some and IMO they are good at it.

That is my rig. I uploaded the pic to MONTYPICS.COM. I guess it is short, but it works great. It keeps my axle under my rig. I thought you wanted to see 1/4 elliptical. I may have a few more. My rig is at a shop right now so I cant take any more pics for you
