NWRCC was pretty fun the last couple of years. I hope this year is a little earlier and not in the "sandblasting" season.

The site is in Roy, WA I believe. It should be in June or early July. We'll see what he comes up with but this will be a good event because it will be in civilization w/o the video camera ruining sand blast. He pushed it back because of the weather concerns in April on the west side.

It really isn't that bad on this side of the moutains... you just have to catch it right, in the right time of year, to get away from that fawkin wind! Dead of winter or dead of Summer would be fine. Problem is, it's either 30 degrees or 100 degrees.

Sure post his number, it will be long distance from Washington. Let me ask you something Gabe. I met with Brent and his wife on a number of occasions. I own the NWRCA domain and was with the group that organized and ran the first event in Vantage. I let him use the domain to promote an event. He was going to keep me informed on what was going on. We talked about a number of things and I felt he was sincere in wanting to organize a good event up here. Now I learn he's moved to California and trying to get an event of some sort going down there, but not from him. Since he's working for 4 wheel parts I'm sure there is some angle there. My opinion is Brent is he's a self promoter and out for any gain he can realize. I'd bet the farm anything he's into is not for the good of the sport just the good of his pocketbook. Can you explain how a guy living and working in California, trying to host and promote an event down there is going to put together anything worth a shit in Washington in the next two or three month's?
Aint' going to happen. If anyone want's to see a decent Rock Crawling event up here befor the end of the year you better get a hard working group of dedicated people together real fast. Then find a decent piece of property with a reliable owner, find and train some judges and marshall's, arrange for some porta-jons, on site medics, insurance, local and state permits, crowd control, parking, get sponsors, get some contestants, some rules, design courses, figure out how to pay for it all and the list goes on. Any body know of anything like that going on now?
