when I was working at a shop in Denver a coupla years ago the local speed shop got a few bad ones, lucky me, I was elected to figure it out, I just sent the boxes back to MSD, repaired no cost.............

What is your set up for a pickup? Converted HEI? Billet Distributor? Crank Trigger? Wires hooked up correctly on the coil terminals? Running 12V to the ignition wire on the box?

well ive had the box for about a year now, but its only got about 300 miles on it.

my set up is all msd, 6AL, blaster 3 coil, to a pro builet

the stuff ran perfectly 3 months ago when it was last run, i had to park it for a little while because of some bent push rods, fixed those this week and now, i dont have any spark, i have tested everything but the box seem to be the hold up. how many volts do coils need to operate? the only think i can think of is to by pass the box and directly wire the coil? any thoughts?

Did you put the miles on it and the set up had previously worked or is it a used box that you have just installed?

Contact MSD's tech line. From what I remember they're pretty helpful.

the miles are with everything, just sitting for 3 months seemed to have killed my ignition system?

What all did you have apart when you fixed your push rods? I am assuming you had the distributor out, maybe you didn't get it back in correctly?

marked everything on the distributor well and on the harmonic balancer,so i know eveything went back the same, but yes i had the manifold off, i put a spark tester on the end of the coil and it shows nuthin. nor does the test light show the coil itself is getting power
